A schedule diagnosis that tells you what to fix first
The reworked diagnosis gives a clear verdict, shows which rules cause problems and where, and suggests the fix to start with — while you keep editing.
When a generated schedule doesn't satisfy every rule, a manager's first question is simple: what do I change? Until now, the answer meant reading through a list of warnings and working out which ones mattered. Version 2.20 rebuilds the schedule diagnosis around that question.
A verdict first, then the fix to start with
The reworked diagnosis leads with a clear verdict on the schedule. Below it, you see:
- The rules causing problems, so you know which constraints are in conflict rather than just which days look wrong.
- Where the warnings land — the staff and dates affected.
- Which fix to start with, so the most effective change is the first one you try.
The diagnosis now runs in the background, so you can keep editing the schedule while it works instead of waiting on a loading screen.
We also made the diagnosis stricter and more honest. A staff rule now counts as missed if any period misses it, not only when every period does. And if a store has duplicate goals, the diagnosis shows the one the scheduler actually uses.
Goals for a week or a date range
Busy periods rarely line up with calendar months. You can now override a formula goal for a specific week or date range — for one staff member or for the whole store — directly from the formula and monthly settings. The default goal stays as it is, so the override ends when the period does.
Local public holidays
Not every holiday is national. A boutique can now mark a special-hours day as a local public holiday, so regional holidays are treated like holidays in scheduling.
Clearer visit-template editing
Validation messages are translated and point at the problem. Choice options, ranges and defaults are kept exactly as saved — even when you change a field's type — and pressing Enter no longer saves a field before you're done.

Shift Management
- Staff who aren't on a team are shown in grey rather than red.
Platform
- "Currently working" on the home dashboard now uses each store's local time, for organizations with stores in several time zones.
- Fewer false "Permission denied" screens at sign-in: a brief connection drop is retried automatically.
